昨日は夜1時までがんばって作業したが、終わらなかった。あと少しで単行本仕上がる。
今日は1時半から芝公園のプリンスで、シャープの電子書籍事業戦略に関する説明会があるので行ってくる。
13年前に「オールナイトライブ」で電子ブックの未来という漫画を描いたが、あのときのハードを作っていたのはシャープで、おそらく当時最も先行していたメーカーだった。
いつの間にか電子ブックは松下、ソニー、そしてキンドル、アップルとなってしまったが、シャープはザウルスをずっと作っている。日本の電子書籍の雛形はザウルスで、という話もあるので、小型PCや携帯のノウハウをたっぷり持ったシャープがどんな動きをするのか、とても興味深いのである。
目を引く新しいハードが出てくれば面白いけど、今日はハードではなく電子書籍のフォーマットとかどこぞの出版社と契約したとかそんな話だろうか。
取材してうまくまとまりそうなら再来月のGetNaviで。
とはいえ、お掃除ロボ「ルンバ」もやりたいので、悩みどころではあります。最近粒ぞろいだ。

ホームタイプくらいなモノが欲しいなとは思いますが、
自分の資料（PDF)がどの程度スムーズに表現できるかが購入のカギですね
以前ソニーのPRS-505を個人輸入して使ってみましたが、
結局持ち運びの手軽さ以外は紙には勝てませんでした。
そろそろ購入意欲が湧いてきてるんですけどねー

ガラパゴスがPDFをどうやって読ませるのかわからないですが、どっから見ても縦長になったiPadですから(笑)まあ読めるんでしょう。
名前は実に素晴らしいんだけど、もうちょっとデザインなんとかならなかったかなって思います。

ベースがAndroidでも実態はガラパゴスというのが良いですよね。
iPadやAndroidタブレットとの住み分け（というか競合ですが）はどうするのか気になります。
Galaxy Tabでdocomoも電子書籍という話ですし。
